This is the final version of Emigrant~ this image is a very early photo of him~ he is now 23 years old! I was able to finally get up close with him at the Arabian World Breeders Cup in Las Vegas. I would visit the stalls each night before I went to bed and go over to his stall~ he has a commanding presence in the ring~but late at night blanketed with shavings in his mane he mainly licked my hands and together we were each of us ' a being breathing thoughtful breath' breathing together.
